Use of Truncated Innite Impulse Response (TIIR) Filters in Implementing Ecien t Digital Waveguide Models of Flared Horns and Piecewise Conical Bores with Unstable One-Pole Filter Elements

We describe computational modeling of aring horns and piecewise conical bores using \Truncated Innite Impulse Response" (TIIR) digital ltering techniques. The approach yields highly ecien t and accurate computational models and is therefore appropriate for real-time simulations of woodwind and brass musical instruments.
