Operating an image display device capable of application installation

PURPOSE: An image display device performing the installation and execution of a downloaded application is provided to download various applications from a network server by the connection of the network server. CONSTITUTION: A network interface unit(130) connects an image display device(100) to wire/wireless network. In case the image display device enters into an application view item, a control unit(170) controls the display of an application list from external network. The controller controls the installation and execution of the application downloaded from the external network. A display unit displays the application list.
