Shaking Table Experimental Study of A High Rise Building of Concrete Filled Square Steel Tubular Frame Structure with Dampers

In this paper,a 1/15 scale model of concrete filled square steel tubular frame structure with dampers is tested on shaking table to study the dynamic characteristics and seismic responses, especially the effect of dampers on seismic behaviors of the structure.Test results show that the structure has no obvious weak story, the torsion of the whole structure is small, and the dampers play an important role in energy dissipation, but the lateral stiffness of the structure is not enough, the elasto-plastic interstory drift does not meet the code requirement(1/80) for energy dissipation structures.According to the test results, the structural design is improved to meet the code requirement.
