High Speed Data Exchange between DSP and Host Computer under DSP′s Master Mode

While transferring the data sampled by the high speed sampling board to the host computer through PCI bus,the way of transferring the data concerns the speed deeply.Traditionally,we made the host computer read the data storing in the data sampling board,but the speed can′t satisfy us.This paper explained a means of allocating memory chunks in the main memory of the host computer,and introduced a method to implement high speed data exchange between DSP and main memory of the host computer under DSP′s master mode.The speed reached 96 MB/s.
