GPS 정보를 활용한 철도차량의 VCB 사구간 제어 시스템

The neutral section control of VCB means the proper operation of the VCB (open and close) to protect the main power equipment from damage that can occur to the entry the neutral section and re-entry the catenary section interval. This is possible by open the VCB before the neutral section and closes after reentry the catenary section. In general, the VCB control during pass the neutral section of rolling stock is controlled by the signal system from railway. But rolling stocks which are not equipped that kind control equipment are controlled by manual operation of drivers with neutral section sign. In this paper addresses a way to promote the smooth operation of the rolling stock control by implementing the neutral section control of the VCB using TCMS and GPS signals automatically if automatic neutral section control is difficult cause of in such deficiencies of the ground signal equipment.
