Analysis of two phases SRM with improved self-starting characteristic is proposed in this paper. Different from the conventional structure, in this paper three different 4/2 structures are proposed, in order to make self-starting possible in every rotor position. Furthermore mechanical balancing is considerly in this analysis. because unbalance mechanical structure will produces more vibration and more noise specially in high speed applications.
