The components strength analysis based on the COSMOSWorks software

Using finite element analysis software of COSMOSWorks which is integrated with SolidWorks can analyze strength and stiffness of three-dimensional model quickly and correctly.It might be helpful to free designers from niggling and error-prone computation.The major module,characteristic and function of the software COSMOSWorks is introduced in this paper。Using the bolster of the truck of passenger car as an example,the FEM analysis results and real object static strength test results are compared in this paper.
