Using Deep Learning Technology for Abnormal Component Identification in Smart Manufacturing Cloud Platform

A smart manufacturing cloud platform provides real-time production progress and quality control information which provides management with the ability to keep track of production dynamics. The wide range of mechanical equipment components in the factory works against quality control personnel records and has an impact on productivity. This paper proposes deep learning technology for abnormal component identification in a smart manufacturing cloud platform. The proposed cloud platform enables quality control staff to check the function of equipment parts and components, by uploading real-time images to help identify abnormal components and to obtain information such as names and model numbers. It can supply maintenance staff with accurate inspection record information for follow-up actions to be taken.
