Cooperative guidance law with time constraint for multiple missiles

A cooperative guidance law with time constraint for multiple missiles is designed for cooperative engagement. Missiles with various functions work together in combination, they play different roles in attack. A leader is selected to lead the others to complete the guidance task. The main idea of this scheme is to convert a guidance problem with time constraints to a nonlinear tracking problem via leader-follower strategy. For this tracking control system, an effective nonlinear state tracking controller based on finite time control technology is proposed, which can control the impact time of missiles. Proof process of finite time stability of nonlinear control system via Lyapunov stability criterion is given. State variable of the controller could converge to zero in finite time, thus all the missiles have a consensus state. Numerical simulation was carried out using the cooperative guidance law based on finite time control technology. Simulations results demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed the cooperative guidance law.
