Extraction of Periodic Components for Gearbox Diagnosis Combining Wavelet Filtering and Cyclostationary Analysis

Wavelet filtering is combined with cyclostationary analysis for detection of gear tooth faults in a gearbox. The parameters of the wavelet filter are optimized by using the proposed entropy minimization rule.
