Performance Analysis of TAS-based MISO System in Temporally-Correlated Channel

Transmit antenna selection (TAS), an effective technique for improving the performance of multiple antennal system, has been researched extensively under the scenario of block fading channel and no delay uplink. In this paper, the performance of the TAS-based multiple-input single-output (MISO) system with delayed uplink in temporally-correlated Rayleigh fading channel are investigated. The closed-form expression of average bit error rate (BER) and outage probability are derived. Those significant results demonstrate in the time-varying channel, TAS-based MISO system with delayed uplink can hardly achieve a full diversity order.
