A fuzzy logic-based adaptive PWM technique

A novel adaptive current pulsewidth modulated technique (PWM) is proposed and analyzed in this paper. With this technique both the hysteresis bandwidth is adapted and the near optimal inverter gating signals are determined according to fuzzy logic rules. The main features of this controller are: reduced frequency fluctuations and nearly optimum switching pattern choice. In this paper both principles of operation and some simulations results are presented and discussed.
