Simulation Study on Combustion Process DI Diesel Engine

This paper applied of 3D CFD simulation software AVL FIRE on CY410 direct-injection diesel engine' combustion process to do numerical simulation,reconstructed the fluid flow process,the charge of the turbulence,the space distribution of the fuel particles,combustion process,heat-transfer process and temperature field in the cylinder.The results show that: with the increase of the fuel injection advance angle,the ignition delay period become longer,the maximum temperature and pressure and heat release rate are increased,and the crank angles of their peaks are also proposing,the oxynitride(NOX) is increased and the soot is decreased,the velocity field and diesel concentration field are not changed obviously.
