In this study the problem of the complex source point (CSP) beam scattering and absorption from a lossy circular dielectric cylinder is considered in both E and H polarizations. The algorithm based on recurrent formulas for the numerical calculation of the cylindrical functions with complex arguments has been used. As a result various scattering patterns as well as scattered and absorbed power fractions were calculated for different cylinder parameters.
