Study on emotion feature analysis and recognition in speech signal: an overview

Emotion recognition of speech is becoming one of new research projects. This paper introduces the status of emotion recognition in speech signal at home and abroad recently. And it also exposes various human emotion classifications. The parameters extraction methods and the meaning of different feature parameters are induced. Based on these, the research progress and the advantages and disadvantages of some capital constitutive modeling methods are summarized. At last, the future challenges and development trends of emotion recognition of speech are presented.
