Impact of a on-line application for teaching video to a multimedia course in high level education

We describe an experience undertaken with higher education students, which consisted of utilizing a online application to serve as an aid in the teaching of video to a Organizational Multimedia course. This course is taught to students on the 4/sup th/ year at Escola Superior de Ciencias Empresariais (Higher School of Managerial Sciences), where the first author teaches. The model used for the planning, development and evaluation of the above mentioned application are referred. In relation to the resulting application, the way it was applied and its evaluation are also presented. The results obtained are interpreted and future developments are proposed.
