THE CHARACTERISTICS OF ORGANIC MATTER CONSUMPTION BY ACIDOGENIC BACTERIA ON ANAEROBIC DIGESTION AT HIGH AMMONIA CONCENTRATION

高アンモニア濃度条件下での酸生成段階における有機物分解特性を連続実験により検討した. その結果, アンモニア性窒素濃度を2000mg-N/L付近に設定した場合, 炭水化物除去率は滞留時間が4.1hでも91%と高い除去率を維持していたが, 4000mg-N/L付近に設定した場合, 除去率は滞留時間の減少とともに, 低下していき, 滞留時間6.0hで47%となっていた. 一方, タンパク質の除去率はアンモニア性窒素濃度条件によらず, 滞留時間の減少に対し, ほぼ同様に推移していた. また, 高アンモニア濃度条件で基質中のタンパク質濃度が高い場合も炭水化物分解が制限されていた. 以上のことから, 高アンモニア濃度条件では, 酸生成細菌による有機物の資化性が様々な因子により変化することが明らかとなった.
