Nonclassical Experimental Designs

This chapter deals with nonclassical designs needed when classical tools could not be applied, particularly because of various constraints. Several examples of studies related to the development of nonclassical experimental strategies are presented. Mixed studies, which combine discontinuous variables and continuous variables or mixture variables and discontinuous or continuous variables, are considered. Suitable experimental designs that need to be built up in order to take into account particular mathematical models associated to this type of study are discussed.
