Mobile Printing using near Field Communication

In Over the last year there have been countless dev elopments related to new mobile phones, tablets, an d apps for personal and business use alike. While the majority of these developments have nothing to do with printing, there have still been a fair number of developments in the mobile printing realm (mobile printing is d efined as sending or initiating a print job using a mobile de vice, such as a smartphone or tablet).We have notic ed that new features have been added to mobile printing apps, i ncluding support for more printer models, file type s, and print settings, and that more mobile operating systems ar e now compatible with these apps. These are certain ly positive developments in terms of making mobile printing accessible to more users, as well as more practical. I n this paper we will focus on developments in mobile printing u sing Near Field Communication Technology.
