Use of condensed and symmetrical TLM nodes in computer-aided electromagnetic design

In its expanded node form, TLM has been used for many years in microwave design. Following a review of this application, the paper describes a new symmetrical condensed node and outlines its advantages. The use of the node with data preparation programs is also covered.
