The present invention relates to a three-dimensional (3D) image system applied to an automatic tunnel control system. To be more specifically, the 3D image system applied to an automatic tunnel control system: converts a two-dimensional (2D) image photographed by a camera that is installed inside or outside a tunnel, into a 3D virtual reality image; stores a modeling image of 3D virtual reality image space information, the same as a facility structure inside and outside the tunnel, in a 3D virtual reality image space information generation module; indicates jet fans, a fire hydrants, escape doors, detectors, etc. as icons in the facility structure in the space information according to the 3D virtual reality image; displays individual areas with different colors in the modeling image of the 3D virtual reality image space information depending on harmful gas concentration detected by gas detectors so that a user in a remote place can realize and transmit information on the inside and the outside of the tunnel via a 3D screen; and allows the user to manually control operation of structures such as the jet fans and the fire hydrants for maintaining constancy in the inside or outside environment of the tunnel, or provides an automatic control function in order to automatically operate the structures when detecting changes in environmental factors that exceed designated values. Therefore, the 3D image system applied to an automatic tunnel control system can allow a user to conveniently and quickly detect changes and abnormal conditions in the inside or outside environment of a tunnel and to solve problems even in a remote place.
