Method and device for cross-language query

Provided in the present invention are a method and device for cross-language query. The method comprises: A. receiving a source-language query input by a user; B. translating the source-language query into target-language queries in N languages, where N is an greater than one; C. acquiring respectively query results corresponding to the target-language queries in N languages; D. providing the user with a final query result collection formed by integrating the query results acquired in step C, wherein the query results in the final query result collection are sorted on the basis of the ranking of each query result in an attributed category and the weighted ranking of the attributed category. The present invention allows for the query results to comprise files of multiple languages, providing the user with improved and increased number of query results.
