Research on the Power Quality Control of Distributed Photovoltaic Power

In response to the demands of the Energy Internet, the penetration of renewable energy resources is increasing rapidly in recent years. However due to its randomness and distribution, the renewable energy generation can greatly affected the stability of the power system, such as the problem of voltage over-limit, which is a big challenge for the transmission and acceptance capacity of the power grid. One key technology of realizing the energy internet is to manage renewable energy economically and effectively. The distributed photovoltaic (PV), connected to 380V low-voltage distribution system, is discussed in this paper, And its influence on voltage distribution on feeder line is analyzed. Taking a single low voltage area as the management node, a comprehensive control strategy of reactive and active power is proposed based on PV grid-connected inverter. The reactive power control of distributed PV is applied to limit the voltage deviation with the active power control in assistant, to fundamentally prevent voltage over-limit. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed strategy is effective and promising.
