Optimal CRONE control of the intake manifold pressure of a spark ignition internal combustion engine

The design of an optimal, robust and safe control-system has been proposed in order to extend the efficiency of linear fractional order controllers for nonlinear and preview systems. This proposed approach is applied and evaluated in this paper by using the Matlab Simulink nonlinear model of the intake manifold pressure of a spark ignition (SI) internal combustion engine (ICE), in which parametric uncertainties and measurement noise are considered. The computing time is considered in the implementation.
