On Poisson queue with three heterogeneous servers

This paper deals with one of the difficulties in taking a heterogeneous multiserver queue that affects the queue discipline. A Poisson queue with three heterogeneous servers has been considered. Some objections to use the classical queue discipline are raised, chief among them being the violation of the first-in first-out principle, because of heterogeneity of servers. The steady state solution has been derived, different types of busy periods has been defined and some numerical results are obtained.
