The Isaacson diffraction model can be used to predict, for known inputs of wave board motions, the wave field that can be realise at different locations in a wave basin. In part 1 of this paper, the optimal source density that is required by this model to yield reliable predictions of the wave field, was established. In this part, the results of the various experimental investigations that were carried out to validate these numerical predictions are presented. See also the previous abstract.
