Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation of Formation Flying and Attitude Tracking Based on Information Processing System

[Abstract] The paper presents new concept called General Cell about an autonomic, highly functional density small satellite general kernel module for distributed cooperation formation satellite system; designs the critical part, Information Processing System of GC; and carries through the Hardware-In-the-Loop simulation combined with dSPACE real time simulators and IPS. As a current GC, it can be divided into Sensors & Actuators Unit and IPS. And with the SoC methodology and Test Satellite I experience, the paper integrates IPS function model into one single chip system and completes the design of prototype IPS. In the HIL simulation, two prototype and two dSPACE simulators are utilized to do formation flying and attitude tracking to validate the correctness, feasibility and validity of the designing scheme of IPS.
