INTRODUCTION Bacterial gastroenteritis is mainly due to poor hygiene. This infection may also occur after close contact with animals and consuming food or water contaminated with bacteria or improper cleaning of storage and preparation areas and unclean utensils cause contamination of raw and cooked foods. Mishandling of raw and cooked foods allows bacteria to grow. The symptoms of Bacterial gastroenteritis vary depending on the bacteria causing the infection. The signs and symptoms may include: loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, blood in your stools, diarrhea, fever and abdominal
