Study on the Distributed Capacitance and Inductance of Non-Uniform Microstrip Line

In this paper,the distributed capacitance and inductance of non-uniform microstrip line are extracted by FDTD method combining with telegraph equations.The distributed capacitance,induc- tance,and corresponding characteristic impedance of mcrostrip line are studied,and their variation characteristics with substrate dielectric constant and structure parameters are obtained.Two typical structures of non-uniform microstrip line,that is,the bent and stepped microstrip lines,are discussed.
