Introduction • Multimodal imaging can provide a deeper understanding of diseases. It can improve diagnostics, help to understand therapy outcome and thereby optimize therapy for the benefit of the patient. • A variety of highly specialized software tools for data evaluation exists but none of these tools is integrative. Presently complex multimodal data evaluation often requires multiple software tools which are usually incompatible, thus do not allow direct comparison of the individual analysis results. • DIROlab is a single software application which supports all necessary analysis features and workflow steps for comparison and evaluation of multimodal data acquired in the DIRO trials currently conducted at DKFZ.
