Method for simultaneously displaying multiple computer desktops on single physical projector

The invention relates to a method for simultaneously displaying multiple computer desktops on a single physical projector in a network (cable network or wireless network) environment. The method comprises the following steps that: a 'computer desktop' of a user optimizes the entire desktop image of the computer desktop through a 'desktop projection client control system' which is arranged on the computer desktop and then sends the optimized entire desktop image to a 'desktop projection server control system' on the network; and the 'desktop projection server control system' can select a plurality of accessed 'computer desktop' windows to display on the physical projector at the same time. The 'desktop projection server control system' manages a plurality of user connections in a multi-user mode, and efficiently and conveniently controls and manages the physical projector and the desktop projection windows of the physical projector. The method can support the desktop projection of multiple kinds of computer equipment (such as intelligent handheld equipment which supports a graphics terminal). The method efficiently supports the practical application that multiple computer desktops are displayed on the same physical projector at the same time, and can be widely used on various occasions which need to use a projector to demonstrate, such as classroom teaching, conference discussion and the like.
