Estimating the Reduction of Generating System CO2 Emissions Resulting from Significant Wind Energy Penetration

This paper presents ways of estimating CO2 reductions of wind power using different methodologies. The paper discusses pitfalls in methodology and proposes appropriate methods to perform the calculations. Results for CO2 emission reductions are shown from several countries.
