Stabilization for a class of chaotic and hyperchaotic systems with constant switch control strategy

Abstract Chaotic behavior is undesirable in particular application, therefore it is necessary to control the chaos of nonlinear system. A constant switch control strategy is presented for the first time to control the chaotic behavior for a class of chaotic and hyperchaotic systems. Analysis shows that the introduced scheme is effective and one can control the state variables to equilibrium point by choosing appropriate switch constant. Moreover, this scheme is robust to the external disturbances and parameter uncertainties.
