Numerical simulation for electrical coils of inductive transducers with magnetic liquids

Abstract Inductive transducers with magnetic liquids are considered having as essential components electrical coils partially filled with magnetic liquids. These coils, usually with circular cross section, are uniformly wound. The calculus of their inductance depending on the removal of the magnetically permeable liquid core and on all the geometrical dimensions is possible only by numerical simulation methods of the magnetic field. The paper presents: the theoretical basis for the numerical simulation method of the magnetic field for the given electrical coil: the mathematical relations used for calculating the magnetic field in different points of the analyzed domain: the final results obtained using this simulation method: experimental checks.
