Research on Noise Reduction for Helicopter Vibration Signals Based on Wavelet Analysis

The comparatively important link in signal-processing field is to conduct noise reduction on collected signals, so as to lay a foundation for the subsequent analyses. Aiming at helicopter vibration signals, this paper puts forward a noise reduction method with the wavelet noise reduction theory. Firstly, wavelet decomposition is conducted on the collected signals; then, an appropriate threshold function and a threshold is selected, and threshold processing is carried out on the decomposed wavelet coefficient; lastly, wavelet reconstruction is carried out with the obtained wavelet coefficient, and thus a signal after noise reduction is obtained. This method is proved effective by simulation results.
