Development of odd weight code construction for KS code with Ex-OR detection for SAC-OCDMA system

Khazani Syed (KS) code is reported for Spectral Amplitude Coding - Optical Code Division Multiple Access (SAC-OCDMA) systems for even weights only. It is a combination of two code construction algorithms, Modified Double Weight (MDW) code and Double Weight (DW) code. The odd weight code construction for KS code is proposed. Proposed algorithm is a combination of previously proposed KS code (for even weight) and identity matrix. It designs the codes for all weights. The KS code is analysed for Bit Error Rate ($BER$) using Ex-OR operation with balanced detection.
