Evaluation Of Clinical Dose Distributions Using Monte Carlo Methods

Monte Carlo (MC) methods are now widely used to model radiotherapy systems for accurate treatment planning. In Christchurch, we are currently developing MC systems in order to evaluate dose distributions in a variety of clinical situations involving highly heterogeneous media, such as lung or head and neck treatments.
