Effect of a Wildfire on Idaho Fescue and Bluebunch Wheatgrass.

The accidental burn of a research site in sagebrush-grass vegetation created an opportunity to investigate some factors which affect the susceptibility of Idaho fescue and bluebunch wheatgrass to damage by fire. The former was more susceptible than the latter. Factors associated with relief increased and those associated with qrazinca prior to the burn decreased the detrimental effects of fire.
