On the effect of power-line disturbances on microcomputer performance

Abstract Some experimental results have been obtained on the effect of power-line disturbances on microcomputer performance. Special equipment has been developed for this study, and by using this it has been possible to perform a sequence of experiments to correlate the operation of a microcomputer with electrical disturbances on its power rails. The results are discussed and some strategies to minimize power-related problems are proposed.
