Periodic boundary value problem for first order partial differential equations

The existence and uniqueness of solutions of the periodic boundary value problem of the first order partial differential equation is proved. This is done by utilizing the result that there exists a periodic solution of the ordinary differential equation when the lower solution is bigger than the upper solution.
