자동차 인스트루먼트 패널 표면특성에 따른 감성품질 연구

The present study developed cognitive quality models of automobile IP (Instrument Panel) surface materials. Five to seven material design variables such as a color, embossing. smoothness, and preference are defined for the IP based on literature survey, customer reviews, and expert opinions. Current trends are toward panels with a soft touch-feel that incorporates either a vacuum formed or cast skin. The technical part of this paper is focused on the cognitive quality model design guidelines and checklist related to fabricating and processing an IP that impacts cost and quality using the quantification I method and a cast skin concept. It goes on to provide an evaluation of future trends in IP design related to two color skins; the use of cloth skins, improved environmental specifications, structural requirements, and changing ergonomics. In this paper, a cognitive satisfaction survey is conducted for 41 IPs with 30 participants by using a modified magnitude estimation scale and the liker-scale. The suggested approach is expected to help designers and engineers identify important design variables to enhance the subjective satisfaction of IP design.
