Review of Virtual Synchronous Generator Technology in Distributed Generation

With the increasing of penetration of distributed generation,conventional distributed generation technology would make the stability of power grid become more serious,the virtual synchronous generator technology becomes the hot topic in the research of distributed generation technology for the advantage of improving power grid's stability.The mechanisms of frequency and voltage control of synchronous generator were introduced,then the representative scheme of two categories of virtual synchronous generator technology were introduced,the control principles were also been analysied.Finally,the trend of virtual synchronous generator technology were discussed.
