Modeling and simulation of control system based on distributions with water drain process application

In this paper, the elementary distributions are introduced using segments string limit and switch operators, modeled and simulated. Based on this theory and properties of distributions, the principle of nonlinear controller design was presented. In the next part of the paper, a complex nonlinear controller was synthesized, modeled, simulated and applied to control a closed loop water drain process assisted by two pumps. The proposed solution based on distributions solves the complex problem in a robust and simple way. This controller can be easily coded using an adequate microcontroller or an HDL and then downloaded in an ASIC as dedicated embedded solution.
