Correlation effects in 4 s 0 4 p 6 and 4 s 1 4 p 5 configurations of krypton studied by the M − N N Auger decay

Energy shifts in the $M\ensuremath{-}NN$ Auger spectrum of krypton caused by strong electron correlation in $4{s}^{0}4{p}^{6}$ and $4{s}^{1}4{p}^{5}$ configurations are studied by comparing the experimental results with the theoretical estimates based on Dirac-Fock multiconfiguration computations.
