An automation mechanism for the iron removal in the pepper powder process is suggested. Dired peppers are crushed mills to make pepper powders. The iron particles being unnecessarily produced by the friction between roll mills should be removed in the process. The pepper powder mixed with the iron particles are dropped into the iron remove in which the horizontally aligned parallel magnetic bars are rotating in a vertical plane Iron particles are attracted and attached to the magnetic bars so that the automated process pull out the bars, scrape the attached iron particles off and reinstall the bars. A fast rotating circular cylinder at the center is used to accelerate the randomness in the particle motions so that they easily crossed the high intensity area of magnetic field near the bars. The automated system of iron removing not only save the human labor but also enable to analyse the process. The saturation of the iron removing capability and the pepper loss at every removing process are identified and suggested to find the optimum operation by trading off between the loss and the efficiency.
