Mean-field like renormalization group study of random two-component magnetic systems

Abstract Using a mean-field like renormalization group approach, we investigate three classes of disordered systems. The first one is characterized by bond disorder, the bonds being Heisenberg or Ising like. The last two are characterized by site disorder with Heisenberg-or Ising-like ions. Among the three interactions J II , J ⫫⫫ and J I⊥ , the last one is either zero or not. Phase diagrams and effective correlation length exponent are determined as a function of the concentration of disorder. Factors influencing the behaviour of these models are discussed.
