Low-complexity phase slip tolerant LDPC-based FEC scheme

We propose a low-complexity forward error correction scheme that is resilient against sporadic phase slip events and based on a new phase-slip transparent construction of LDPC codes, called block-symmetric codes. We evaluate the code constructions for multiple modulation formats.
