Validation and design of performance evaluation model for digital library

Since the importance of building digital libraries has been attached by the universities,it is very important to evaluate the performance of a digital library.Therefore,a comprehensive performance evaluation model for digital library is proposed and validated.The investigation data is analyzed according to the structural equation modeling approach.The results show that the constructed second order measurement model has a better goodness of fit indices,in which a second-order factor is designed to measure the overall performance and five first-order factors reflect the alternative performance significance which indicates interface index,system performance index,information quality index,quality of service and environment index.
