Knowledge Management in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks for Rescue Scenarios 1

Information sharing is a mission critical key element in rescue and emergency scenarios. Mobile ad-hoc networks could provide the necessary infrastructure, but existing solutions to information and knowledge management do not adequately meet the challenges that we face. This position paper discusses the requirements imposed by the given scenario and outlines some solutions.
