Research on Hydraulic Loading System of Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar Test-bed

In order to research the mechanical behavior of materials under impact loading,based on normal SHPB device,a hydraulic loading system that could exert loading from two degrees of free was developed.The output pressure and displacement of hydraulic cylinder could be controlled real-time using this system.The mechanical loading ways were researched and the sealing powder loading way was presented.A hydraulic proportional control system was designed as loading system.Pressure sensor,displacement sensor and data acquisition card with PC were used to constitute the hydraulic loading control system to monitor the pressure of hydraulic cylinder real-time.The control system was simulated with Simulink.The simulation result displays that this system can load the specimen with constant pressure.
